Jovan Janjic

The non-elimination of the consequences of occupation in some parts of Yugoslavia in World War II, as well as preventing and obstructing from the Yugoslav state the elimination of the consequences of the war suffering of the Serbian Orthodox Church, will prevent and disable the Church in certain parts of its canonical territory and endanger, destroy and confiscate its property. This will then lead to a new suffering of the Serbian people, while putting the legal successor state of Yugoslavia to additional temptations. Penjišević Aleksandra

The topic of the research is the competitiveness of national economies according to the World Economic Forum (WEF), on the one hand, and the productivity of these same economies on the other. The detailed concept, definition and methodology of measuring competitiveness are presented, as well as different understandings of macroeconomic productivity and methods of its measurement. Everything was done in order to determine the connection between these phenomena and check the basic WEF setting that competitiveness determines productivity. The analysis uses the current data of the International Labor Organization (ILO) and The Global Competitiveness Report 2019. From the point of view of measurement, one of the variable ordinal (position) and the other type Scale for testing the hypothesis will be used test. The SPSS software package will be used for data processing. The obtained result unequivocally indicates that strong conditionality of the position of the economy on the ranking of competitiveness with the achieved results in productivity has been confirmed. This knowledge is worthy in terms of promoting the high value and importance of the competitiveness of national economies by the concept of WEF. Thus, it can be concluded that if the productivity of the entire economy is to be improved, the most reliable way is to build a more competitive economy.

ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS OF THE USE OF SOLAR ENERGY FOR THERMAL AND ELECTRICAL ENERGY IN THE CITY OF NIS

Nina Pavicevic

The world is facing the depletion of natural fuels such as coal and natural gas for electricity generation and the increasing demand for electricity. In this situation, everyone is looking for unconventional, renewable energy resources such as solar and wind energy, etc. The Earth receives solar energy in the form of solar radiation, which contains ultraviolet, visible and infrared radiation. The amount of solar radiation that reaches any location depends on several factors such as geographical location, time of day, season, volume of land, and local time. The Republic of Serbia, compared to other European countries, has an average of 40% higher solar radiation during the year, while Nis, Kursumlija and Vranje have the highest potential for the use of solar energy in southern Serbia. Since the city of Nis belongs to the group of cities in Serbia that have the highest potential for solar energy use, the subject of this paper will be the economic and environmental aspects of using solar energy to generate thermal and electrical energy on the territory of the city of Nis.
